The First Competition

We have gone very far in the S.T.L.P project. We had a regional competition. We got just the right score to move on. we got our rubric and we saw what we did good in and what we need to improve upon. After that we worked on improving the project. We totally trashed the first rover. We made the new rover white. After we were finished it almost looked identical to the real rover. When our next competition rolled around we took our rover there. Even with all our hard work we didn't move on.

Some people were disappointed about our choice and others were excited.

Everyone got more and more into it as they went on.

Why we did the project

Well first of all we need a background. Well it's a rover and rovers go to mars so we decided on that. We split into two groups. One group worked on the background. While another group worked on our first rover. We really didn't pay attention to the actaul rover. We thought it was black but it was white. While the one group worked on the rover we worked on the landscape. They took a foam board then spray painted it red. Then put sand on it.

First, we thought of ideas most people wanted to do a robot then we decided on a rover.
